What Makes EtonHouse Mountbatten 717 Special?
EtonHouse Mountbatten 717 is one of our Singapore Pre-Schools* for children from Pre-Nursery to K2 (18 months to 6 years of age). Children are immediately drawn to the sprawling gardens while parents appreciate how the outdoor space has been creatively converted into rich learning areas. This innovative approach to education is applied throughout, from our inquiry-based curriculum to our thoughtfully planned nature classrooms.
Purposefully-Designed Outdoor Spaces
Our outdoor gardens have been specially designed as powerful learning spaces for children to acquire key skills. Some of the features include a tree deck playground where children can develop their motor skills; a horticulture garden and Cookery Lab where children can farm and cook; a large sandpit and a water wall made for sensory play.
Inquiry-Based Curriculum
The EtonHouse inquiry-based curriculum is inspired by the Reggio Emilia Project. Our educators continuously observe the students and personalise learning experiences. This pedagogy is challenging and engaging for children — they don’t just acquire language and numeracy skills, they pick up critical thinking, effective communication, and interpersonal skills as well.
Bilingual Classroom Environment
Our English-Mandarin dual language programme empowers children to think and speak in both languages from a young age. The programme is also an eye-opening gateway to a different culture — we often organise cultural events and celebrate traditional festivals.
Powerful Pathway to Primary, Secondary and High School
Graduates can advance to both local and international Primary Schools. For families who would come to appreciate EtonHouse’s holistic approach to education, we offer education pathways to Primary School and beyond. We have four Primary Schools across the island, including the centrally located EtonHouse Orchard that offer the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme, the Cambridge-approved International General Certificate of Secondary Education, and IB Diploma Programme.
*EtonHouse Singapore Pre-Schools offer childcare services from 7am to 7pm, and follow the academic calendar of January to December. Singaporeans are eligible for government (ECDA) subsidies.

Sarah Huda, Parent of Arisha, M717
It has been such a wonderful journey. Arisha transformed from a strange anxious toddler to a very talkative preschooler. She learned about care from her teachers and loved to give back. At what point she learned about contingents or jumbled alphabets I do not know but academics apart she has gained valuable life skills. Read more here

The message of kindness in woven subtly throughout the school experience and the teachers have managed to present us with a child who is aware of and kind to the environment and animals around us. All in all, the memories and experiences that our family garnered in 717 will stay with us for a long time to come and will be cherished close to our hearts. Read more here
