A pre-school on sentosa island
The island becomes the classroom
Set against Sentosa’s shoreline at Beachview, EtonHouse Pre-School by the Beach reimagines early education with nature as both the classroom and catalyst for learning. In this purposefully designed bilingual campus, the sun, sand, sea and surrounding trails spark meaningful inquiry—transforming every shell, tide line and unexpected discovery into opportunities for children to question, investigate and shape their own learning.
An environment children can trust is what makes growth possible. When your child feels settled and secure, they take the small risks that meaningful learning invites: exploring possibilities, revisiting ideas and building new understandings. That’s how curiosity becomes capability, and how children build the confidence they carry with them long after pre-school. We’re the only school in Singapore that works directly with the Reggio Children International Network, and that relationship shapes our Inquire · Think · Learn programme.

Three key pillars
What sets us apart
The island is my playground
Our unique island location extends learning beyond the classroom, offering authentic, hands-on experiences inspired by Sentosa’s rich natural environment, heritage and community. Every exploration encourages children to inquire, discover and make meaningful connections with the world around them.
The world is my oyster
Through global classroom projects and collaborations with children from around the world, learners develop intercultural understanding, broaden their perspectives and build meaningful connections that prepare them to thrive as global citizens.
I learn with my community
Learning flourishes through meaningful relationships. Our campus comes alive on weekends as a community hub, bringing together children, families and educators through enriching experiences that foster collaboration, belonging and lifelong learning.
Innovative learning spaces
Environment as the third educator
Every corner of the campus invites discovery, connecting children to the ocean and island around them.
- 01Noah's ArkAn immersive exploration deck that inspires imaginative play, encouraging children to take thoughtful risks, build resilience and develop confidence through collaborative experiences.
- 02Realdo LabAn open space where clean industrial surplus is given a second life. Working with these open-ended materials, children investigate and design, building creative thinking and an early understanding of sustainability — seeing possibility where others see waste.
- 03Nature and Digital Landscape AtelierA unique atelier where nature and technology come together, enabling children to investigate natural artefacts using digital microscopes, interactive tools and inquiry-based explorations.
- 04Edible GardenA farm-to-table edible garden where children experience the full journey of food, from growing and harvesting to preparing fresh produce, fostering sustainability, healthy living and a deeper connection with nature.
Why families choose us
An education that grows with your child
Reggio Emilia-inspired, inquiry-based approach
Guided by our Inquire · Think · Learn curriculum, experiences are thoughtfully designed to spark inquiry, encourage collaboration, and deepen understanding. Educators observe closely and co-construct learning around each child’s ideas and theories.
Passionate and highly qualified educators
We’re the only school in Singapore working directly with the Reggio Children International Network. Our educators train with educators from Reggio Emilia and travel to Italy for study programmes, supported by our own research and training arm all year round.
Strong bilingual programme
An immersive English and Mandarin environment exposes children to both languages from a young age, and our Mandarin programme emphasises cultural immersion that fosters a lifelong love for the language.
Close-Knit Island Community
We maintain close partnerships with families through personalised portfolios, regular updates via emails and newsletters, and parent-teacher conferences. Parents are invited to take part in classroom experiences such as mystery reading, cultural cooking and collaborative projects each term.
From our families
★★★★★
“It is important to me that my son experiences time outdoors daily. As a forest school educator and trained nurse, wellbeing and time in nature are key components for me. We love the wildlife that children can naturally encounter around the island, and the strong emphasis EtonHouse places on pastoral care and emotional wellbeing.”
