Three key pillars
What sets us apart
Immersive Mandarin Environment
Children are immersed in a Mandarin-speaking environment where inquiry, play and everyday interactions unfold naturally. Through meaningful experiences, they develop confidence in listening, speaking, reading and writing while using Mandarin as the language of learning.
Inquiry-Based Learning
Inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach, our inquiry-based curriculum empowers children to question, investigate and construct their own understanding. Educators carefully observe and respond to each child’s ideas and interests, creating meaningful learning experiences that nurture curiosity, creativity and critical thinking.
Language and Cultural Appreciation
Children develop a genuine appreciation for the richness of Chinese language and culture through authentic experiences, from traditional arts and cultural celebrations to music, storytelling and festivals. These experiences foster cultural understanding while deepening their connection with the language.
Innovative learning spaces
Environment as the third educator
Every corner of the campus encourages children to think, communicate and discover in Mandarin.
- 01Language-Rich Classrooms An immersive Mandarin environment where language is woven naturally into every interaction, with books, learning materials and provocations that encourage children to think, communicate and express themselves in Mandarin.
- 02AtelierA dedicated studio where children explore Chinese painting, calligraphy and a variety of open-ended materials, expressing their ideas through creativity, inquiry and cultural experiences.
- 03Outdoor Learning SpacesA vibrant outdoor learning environment that extends learning beyond the classroom, encouraging children to explore, collaborate and discover through purposeful play.
Why families choose us
An education that grows with your child
Reggio Emilia-inspired, inquiry-based approach
Guided by our Inquire · Think · Learn curriculum, experiences are thoughtfully designed to spark inquiry, encourage collaboration, and deepen understanding. Educators observe closely and co-construct learning around each child’s ideas and theories.
Passionate and highly qualified educators
We’re the only school in Singapore working directly with the Reggio Children International Network. Our educators train with educators from Reggio Emilia and travel to Italy for study programmes, supported by our own research and training arm all year round.

Charlotte Choy
Principal
Charlotte began at the EtonHouse Education Centre as a student pursuing her Diploma in Teaching, apprenticing at EtonHouse Mountbatten 764 at the same time. That early exposure to the Reggio Emilia approach shaped her progression from educator to leader. At Mountbatten 717 she worked closely with her teaching team to create a vibrant outdoor classroom, and she was later seconded to Hampton Pre-School (Bishan) to implement the inquiry approach, mentoring a cohesive team and engaging parents as active participants.
A lifelong learner herself, Charlotte holds a Master of Education specialising in Early Childhood Education from Monash University. She believes children are agents of change who need time, space, and open-ended, sensorial resources to develop creativity and imagination, and that stimulating encounters nurture an intrinsic motivation to form and test theories through play. She returned to EtonHouse to build the Mandarin Immersion curriculum with her team, and takes pride in watching children grow into emotionally secure, resilient individuals.
