Moving beyond isolated experimentation, the rollout embeds AI within structured enterprise systems, supported by role-based access controls, secure authentication and automated provisioning.

Building on Lumina, EtonHouse’s proprietary AI-powered lesson planning platform, this next phase extends artificial intelligence into broader organisational functions. Teams will now be able to analyse documents more efficiently, model scenarios, streamline workflows and enhance internal systems.

Dr Ng’s journey began when her family moved to London in the 1980s. Inspired by her daughter’s joyful school experience, she volunteered at her child’s school and discovered a deeply child-centred, inquiry-based approach that differed greatly from Singapore’s at that time. Motivated to bring this philosophy home, she founded EtonHouse in 1995. Today, the group has grown to over 100 schools across nine countries, serving more than 25,000 students.

In 2025, 

• YCT Levels 1 to 3: Students achieved an average score of 98%, with 57% of students earning full marks.
• YCT Level 4: Taken by our Year 5 and 6 students, this is the highest level offered and includes a writing component. They achieved an average score of 78%, with the top scorer, from Bulgaria, scoring 96%.
• Successfully completing Level 4 indicates the ability to communicate effectively in most situations during travel in China and in secondary education.

These exceptional results are a testament to our students’ dedication and the effectiveness of our Mandarin Immersion Pathway.

During the term, students have been actively involved in meaningful service placements with ACRES Wildlife Rescue Centre, Thye Hua Kwan Nursing Home, and EtonHouse International Pre-School Claymore. These partnerships offer students the opportunity to select a service experience that aligns with their personal interests, while fostering empathy, leadership, and a strong sense of social responsibility.

For students passionate about medicine and healthcare, volunteering at Thye Hua Kwan Nursing Home offers firsthand insight into aged care and patient interaction. Students spend time engaging with elderly residents and supporting staff, developing both communication and interpersonal skills in a real-world care setting.

Those interested in wildlife protection or environmental policy contribute to the work of ACRES, a leading wildlife rescue organisation in Singapore. From raising awareness about conservation issues to assisting in the care of rescued animals, students gain an appreciation for the challenges and rewards of environmental advocacy.

Meanwhile, students with a passion for education or research take on the role of assistant teachers at Claymore. They help to plan and lead learning experiences for younger children, building confidence and gaining invaluable hands-on experience within a classroom setting.

The response from all three partner organisations has been overwhelmingly positive, with many expressing enthusiasm about continuing the collaboration for subsequent batches of students.

The service component is one part of EtonCore, our bespoke Sixth Form programme that supports holistic development through the Extended Project Qualification, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, global collaborations, and real-world partnerships. These experiences enrich students’ learning, build future-ready skills, and encourage them to become active, compassionate, and lifelong learners. They also help students develop strong, meaningful CVs that strengthen university applications and open doors to future opportunities—preparing them to lead with purpose and make a lasting impact.
