Honouring the Image of Child, our Nursery learning experiences revolve around getting children to explore transferable concepts such as systems and perspectives, further developing children’s competency to think and to communicate.
Through the pedagogy of listening and deliberate observations, we offer children multiple ways to construct knowledge and make meaningful connections, respecting that children represent ideas and thoughts in hundred languages.
Language and literacy opportunities are weaved seamlessly into the inquiry learning experiences at the Nursery 2 level as children gain competence and interest in communicating their thoughts and ideas through verbal and written forms. Through rich learning experiences, they would also access opportunities to STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Mathematics).
As play and interactions become more complex at this age, we continue to support the children in developing social competence and inclusiveness.
