What Makes EtonHouse Mountbatten 718 Special?
EtonHouse International Pre-School at 718 Mountbatten is an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School welcoming children from 18 months to 6 years of age. Our teachers are passionate about supporting children, making sure their first experiences with learning are positive. Children are encouraged to explore and discover through all types of activities such as art, music, our dual-language programme and playing in our beautiful outdoor spaces.
An Internationally Recognised Curriculum
In the early years from Pre-Nursery to Nursery 1, we follow the EtonHouse Inquire.Think.Learn framework where our educators use play and conversation to support and extend a child’s learning. From Nursery 2 onwards, we offer the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP), an internationally-recognised curriculum that emphasises holistic development. As an accredited IB World School, we uphold best practices, ensuring students develop the skills and attitudes needed to become internationally-minded individuals.
Spacious Outdoor Learning Spaces
Our 6,050 square-metre campus has a sprawling outdoor area that includes a large sandpit, bike tracks, climbing frames, water play spaces, and a sensory garden. There are also shared spaces like construction zones and an atelier gallery.
Dual Language Environment With English and Mandarin
At all times, each class has two qualified educators — one who speaks Mandarin and one who speaks English. They take turns to deliver parts of each learning session in their native tongue so that over time, your child gets accustomed to listening and communicating in both languages.
ZhongHua Mandarin Immersion
We have introduced ZhongHua Mandarin Immersion that has been popular with our EtonHouse families at Zhong Hua and Robertson Walk. Pre-Nursery and Nursery 1 children will get to experience a 100% Mandarin inquiry-based curriculum. From Nursery 2 to Kindergarten 2, the curriculum will transition to a 70% Mandarin-30% English format. ZhongHua Mandarin Immersion aims to cultivate fluency in the Chinese language and increase multicultural awareness. Children will build an understanding, acceptance and respect of other languages and cultures while developing knowledge, appreciation and sensitivity to different cultures.
Holistic Programme That Supports Intellectual, Emotional and Social Growth
We empower our students with the values and attitudes they need to become agents of change in the future. For example, sustainability is a key pillar to the EtonHouse education and permeates all aspects of our students’ lives in school. We also offer a diverse range of programmes such as a specialist programme facilitated by our librarian, physical education specialist and an aterlierista.
Pathway to Primary, Secondary and High School
Upon graduation, families can choose to stay within the EtonHouse family. We have four Primary Schools across the island, including our modern EtonHouse Orchard campus that offers a powerful pathway from Primary to High School.
*Only schools authorised by the IB Organisation can offer any of its three academic programmes: the Primary Years Programme (PYP), the Middle Years Programme (MYP) or the Diploma Programme.

It’s a small school which is great for the little ones. You get to know other parents and kids quickly and easily. And since no one nationality dominates, the kids get a cosmopolitan feel and learn to embrace many cultures. I would highly recommend EtonHouse 718 for its fun based learning approach, hands-on teachers and beautiful surroundings. Read more here

When I was looking for pre-school for my twins, Advait and Akshara, I just wanted a “happy” school with lots of outdoor space for the children to play. The EtonHouse at 718 Mountbatten not only has a big outdoor play area and cozy classrooms but more importantly, the teachers are warm, friendly and nurture children’s inquisitive minds and instil confidence. This beautiful little school was the perfect place for our children to start their schooling. It is an incredibly friendly environment with a lot of emphasis on relationship building, nature appreciation, the stimulation of the child’s natural curiosity, and the appreciation of the child as a wonderful individual. The small class sizes and the great student-teacher ration, of course, help to achieve this. Read more here
