Co-curricular Programmes

At Nature Pre-School, we are dedicated to offering the best learning experiences for our students. We are proud to share that several enriching programmes have been seamlessly integrated into our school schedule, ensuring a holistic educational experience without any additional costs. These programmes are designed to foster a deep connection with nature, promote hands-on learning, and support the overall development of our young learners.

Earth Rangers Club

Pre-Nursery to Kindergarten 2
After school programme

Our educators work with smaller grade level groups, providing meaningful engagements after curriculum hours end. Weekly planning has been customised for younger to older learners and referred to for club experiences.

Focus: Time to get to know our garden and the great outdoors! Being an Earth Rangers is an identity that we will introduce to children. It invites them to take on a role of significance with active and respectful agency to protect our planet. It encompasses forest school, nature and wildlife discovery and real world projects with fellow friends.

Mission: To create the next generation of conservationists!

‘Stories Come Alive’ Club

Pre-Nursery to Kindergarten 2
After school programme

Our educators work with smaller grade level groups, providing meaningful engagements after curriculum hours end. Weekly planning has been customised for younger to older learners and referred to for club experiences.

Focus: This club nurtures a love for literature, imagination and creativity! Stories are meant to be experienced with our whole body.

This club helps promote multiple connections to new stories shared each week as children enjoy tales connected to movement, music and imaginary play.

This club fosters curiosity, language, literacy and social skills as we bring stories to life together!

“Storytelling is the most powerful way to put ideas into the world today” Robert McKee

Nature Wonders Club

Pre-Nursery to Kindergarten 2
After school programme

Our educators work with smaller grade level groups, providing meaningful engagements after curriculum hours end. Weekly planning has been customised for younger to older learners and referred to for club experiences.

Focus: This club honours time in our dedicated Nature Atelier and Nature Walkways to explore and investigate the latest provocations.

Time to slow down, investigate and make connections with ‘Wonders from Nature’ promotes skills with observation, research critical thinking and collaboration.

These encounters also foster wellbeing and regulation as children have time to decompress, connect with natural materials and soak up the green canvas of our walkways and Nature Atelier for discovery.

“Nature is a tool to get children to experience not just the wider world, but themselves” Stephen Moss

Rough & Tumble/ Team building games Club

Pre-Nursery to Kindergarten 2
After school programme

Our educators work with smaller grade level groups, providing meaningful engagements after curriculum hours end. Weekly planning has been customised for younger to older learners and referred to for club experiences.

Focus: This club honours time for movement, risk taking and positive physical challenge. Movement is important for brain development, it is a key time when synapse connections form in children’s brains.

Time is taken to build mastery with equipment and physical skills as children build their confidence, physical fitness, agility and techniques.

Each week brings new possibilities and invitations to learning together with fellow friends.

“If we want our children to move mountains, we have to first let them out of their chairs!” Nicolette Sowder

Mindfulness Club

Pre-Nursery to Kindergarten 2
After school programme

Our educators work with smaller grade level groups, providing meaningful engagements after curriculum hours end. Weekly planning has been customised for younger to older learners and referred to for club experiences.

Focus: Mindfulness takes place organically across the curriculum as we support children navigate their day. Our club allows new strategies and techniques to be explored as children build their ‘mindful toolbelt’.

Engaging experiences will help children to connect with their feelings, thoughts and ideas, allowing them to self identify their needs, build empathy for others and build expressive tools for sharing with others.

“Mindfulness helps us to live in harmony with our thoughts, feelings & actions” Amit Ray
