Student diversity is celebrated and welcomed and different nationalities are welcomed to register, currently we have over 35 different nationalities attending. EtonHouse International School is proud to offer places for student in our Pre-School and Primary Programmes from 2 – 11 years old.

Enrollments are open all year round, depending on availability.

Wait List

Enrolments are open all year round. Interested parents may submit the application form and pay the non-refundable and non-transferrable application fee to apply to the school. If your child has been accepted but there is no immediate availability, your child will be placed on the waitlist. The school will reach out to the parent when a place is available. Should parents wish to withdraw from the waitlist before a place is offered or chooses not to accept the offer, the application fee will not be refundable nor transferable.

Admission Priority

Admission priority will be given to Staff’s children, siblings of School students and students from other EtonHouse campuses, and then by date of application.

Student Visa Status

International Students who do not already have a Dependant’s Pass, Immigration Exemption Order, Long-Term Visit Pass or Permanent Resident status will need to apply for a Student’s Pass (STP) upon acceptance of the offered placement by the School.

As EtonHouse is an EduTrust registered school we are able to assist in your child application to the ICA (Immigration Checkpoint Authority). EtonHouse cannot guarantee the successful student pass application as this is controlled by the ICA. Upon successful application Student Pass holders must meet the minimum 90% monthly attendance requirements stipulated by the ICA.

Click www.ica.gov.sg for more information on Visitor Services.

If you are holding a Student Pass in Singapore, you are only allowed to work if you meet specific requirements.
Currently, EtonHouse students holding a Student Pass are not allowed to work in Singapore.
Please refer to the MOM website for the latest information on Work Pass eligibility and exemption.

Singapore Ministry of Education (MOE) approval

In accordance with Singapore law, students aged 6 or older who are Singapore Citizens (by either birth or registration) must be granted approval by the Singapore Ministry of Education (MOE) to study at EtonHouse International School. Children aged 2 to 5 (in the Early Years or Year 1 programme) do not require MOE approval. Our Admissions Department will submit the necessary applications to the MOE before a place at EtonHouse International School has been formally offered.

Admission Requirements

Assessments

We will review all school reports and arrange for a personal interview where necessary to ensure the appropriate year level placement. As part of the enrolment process, students are tested in-person or remotely (for students who are unable to visit the school due to international travel) for their English language ability if:

  • student’s first/native language is not English

  • student has been in a school where the main language of delivery is not English

English as an Additional Language (EAL) programme will be provided to students who are offered a place and require this support. This supplementary programme is charged as an additional fee.

Note: The assessment tools used for the English proficiency tests are subject to change. It may include in-person or remote interview / administering in-house English language assessments / CEFR test etc. Duration of these assessments may vary from 10 mins to an hour on a case-to-case basis.

Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR)

The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) is an international standard for describing language ability. It describes language ability on a six-point scale, from A1 for beginners, up to C2 for those who have mastered a language. This makes it easy for anyone involved in language teaching and testing, such as teachers or learners, to see the level of different qualifications.
