Mrs Ng Gim Choo, Founder and Group Managing Director of EtonHouse International Education Group have been awarded the Jiangsu Friendship Award.
This award commends foreign experts who have made remarkable contributions to the economic and social development of the province, promoting cooperation and exchanges in economy, science & technology, culture and education with foreign countries. It is the most prestigious award Jiangsu Provincial People’s Government has established for foreign experts.
The first EtonHouse overseas campus was set up in Suzhou in 2003 during the SARS crisis. It is an International Baccalaureate World School (PYP and MYP) and provides quality education. Due to the lack of quality international schools in Wuxi, many students travelled from Wuxi to study at EtonHouse Suzhou. The school began operations in February 2008 with classes from pre-school, primary and middle school, with an official opening by the then Singapore Minister of State for Trade and Industry Mr Lee Yi Shyan in April 2008.
