Voices from Our Community
We understand that one of the most significant challenges in society today is the widening of social and economic divides. High-quality education offered by private and international schools is accessible only to a small, affluent segment of the population. This exclusivity can unintentionally entrench inequality by limiting access to transformative learning experiences for those from less privileged backgrounds.
Over time, such disparities contribute to the perpetuation of elite networks and intergenerational privilege. While private education has the capacity to drive innovation, elevate teaching standards and offer enriching learning environments, its benefits can be unevenly distributed. Without thoughtful action, this can lead to broader societal fragmentation.
At EtonHouse International Education Group, we recognise the fundamental right of every child to quality education. In response to this, we have intentionally evolved our mission, placing social responsibility at the core of our value proposition. We believe that excellence in education should not come at the cost of inclusivity and that a more equitable future begins in the classroom.
While we continue to offer international education through schools such as EtonHouse International Schools and Middleton International School, we have also taken significant steps to extend affordable and accessible educational opportunities to a broader segment of society. Through a purposeful partnership with the Singapore government, our E-Bridge Pre-School offers quality early childhood education at scale, with substantial government subsidies available for families in the bottom 10 to 20 percent income bracket. This initiative not only reflects our commitment to equity but also reinforces the idea of education as a public good, something that should empower all children, regardless of background.
Complementing this effort, EtonHouse has established an independent charity, EtonHouse Community Fund (ECF). As part of our long-term strategic vision, ECF extends the benefits of private education beyond our own classrooms. By leveraging the Group’s research, pedagogical innovations and professional development capabilities, ECF supports vulnerable children and families in Singapore through a range of programmes, including literacy initiatives, enrichment classes and parent engagement efforts.
Through these collective efforts, EtonHouse Group is actively working to reduce educational disparities and foster more inclusive access to high-quality learning experiences. Our approach illustrates how a private education provider can align commercial success with meaningful social value creation, proving that business outcomes and community betterment are not mutually exclusive but mutually reinforcing.
At EtonHouse, we remain committed to redefining what it means to be an education provider, not just through academic excellence, but through an enduring commitment to building a fairer and more inclusive world.

Our favourite memory of our children’s time in EtonHouse is their enthusiasm about going to school and learning. They wanted to be in school rather than at home during the holidays!

Passing by EtonHouse always evokes a feeling of warmth and fondness in me. Despite having only attended Kindergarten here, it has made a great impact on my life.
